We are partnering with a well-established organisation to hire a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to strengthen its cybersecurity capabilities. This is a hands-on technical role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise security solutions while ensuring the organisation's IT infrastructure remains secure and resilient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise cybersecurity solutions across areas such as network security, endpoint protection, identity and access management (IAM), and security monitoring.
- Lead the investigation and response to cybersecurity incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement remediation measures to minimise security risks.
- Manage vulnerability assessments, security patching, and system hardening activities to maintain a strong security posture.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, network, cloud, and application teams, as well as external technology vendors, to deploy security controls, troubleshoot issues, and support security projects.
- Evaluate new cybersecurity technologies through proof-of-concept (POC) exercises, maintain security documentation, support security audits, and recommend improvements to enhance the overall cybersecurity environment.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, security engineering, or enterprise IT security, with hands-on experience across one or more domains such as network security, endpoint security, IAM, or security operations.
- Strong understanding of incident response, vulnerability management, security best practices, and enterprise security technologies.
- Good communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and technology vendors.
