Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to join our Professional Services team and lead the successful delivery of Tenable-based security solutions for enterprise customers.
This is a highly technical, customer-facing role for a consultant who combines deep implementation capability with strong advisory skills. You will work directly with customer environments to deploy, configure, and optimize Tenable solutions across vulnerability management, Active Directory security, identity exposure, and cloud security.
The ideal candidate is confident working independently, comfortable engaging customer stakeholders, and experienced in integrating Tenable solutions with enterprise platforms such as Active Directory, Azure AD, AWS, GCP, SIEM, and SOAR. Beyond implementation, you will help customers strengthen their security posture through practical remediation guidance, workshops, and best-practice recommendations aligned with industry frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment, implementation, and configuration of Tenable Security Center, Tenable One, Nessus, Tenable Identity Exposure, and Tenable Cloud Security.
- Deliver end-to-end professional services engagements, from design and installation to tuning, validation, and knowledge transfer.
- Integrate Tenable solutions with Active Directory, Azure AD, AWS, and GCP to enhance visibility across identities, assets, and cloud environments.
- Conduct security assessments and analysis related to Active Directory exposure, including Kerberos, LDAP, GPO, privilege paths, and identity risks.
- Support customers in establishing and maturing their vulnerability management lifecycle, including asset discovery, scanning, prioritization, reporting, remediation tracking, and continuous improvement.
- Provide advisory guidance on CVSS-based risk scoring, vulnerability prioritization, mitigation planning, and remediation best practices.
- Implement and support integrations with SIEM/SOAR and enterprise systems such as Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight, ServiceNow, and related platforms.
- Develop and maintain project deliverables including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), implementation guides, configuration documents, runbooks, and operational handover materials.
- Facilitate workshops, technical briefings, and knowledge transfer sessions for customer IT and security teams.
- Work closely with customers to align findings and recommendations with security frameworks and compliance requirements such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, PCI DSS, and MAS TRM.
- Support pre-sales activities, solution design discussions, and proof-of-concept engagements where required.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers improve security visibility, reduce exposure, and gain measurable value from their Tenable investment.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, engineering, or security operations.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with vulnerability management technologies, preferably within the Tenable ecosystem.
- Proven experience deploying and supporting Tenable Security Center, Tenable One, Nessus, Tenable Identity Exposure, and/or Tenable Cloud Security.
- Strong expertise in Active Directory security, including Kerberos, LDAP, GPOs, privilege exposure, delegation risks, and AD hardening.
- Solid experience with Azure AD / Microsoft Entra ID, AWS, and GCP security concepts, including identity and workload security.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment, risk scoring, prioritization, remediation workflows, and security posture management.
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux administration, system hardening, and patching practices.
- Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR integrations and enterprise security workflows.
- Good understanding of cybersecurity and compliance frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, PCI DSS, and MAS TRM.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills, with the ability to present clearly to both technical teams and management stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes in customer environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as Tenable Certified, CISSP, CISM, CEH, Microsoft Security, AWS Security, or equivalent.
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments such as financial services, government, healthcare, or critical infrastructure.
- Exposure to hybrid environments spanning on-premises, cloud, and identity-centric security architectures.
- Experience conducting technical workshops, operational enablement, and post-implementation advisory sessions.
