A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Cyber Security Architect to drive the design and implementation of enterprise security architecture across on-premises and cloud environments. This role partners closely with technology, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to embed security into enterprise solutions and support large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Design secure technology solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise security standards.
- Develop architecture artefacts and security designs for enterprise technology initiatives.
- Establish and maintain security architecture principles, standards, and best practices.
- Partner with technology and project teams to embed security throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
- Conduct security design reviews and provide recommendations to address technology risks.
- Provide technical guidance on cloud security, identity, network, and data protection capabilities.
- Support security governance by driving risk mitigation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Cyber Security, Security Engineering, or Security Architecture.
- Experience designing enterprise security solutions across hybrid infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of security architecture principles, cloud security, identity, network, and data protection technologies.
- Familiarity with recognised security frameworks and working within regulated industries.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, SABSA, or equivalent are advantageous.
