Conduct rigorous assessments and tests on products and technologies, analysing their effectiveness, reliability, and potential integration with existing solutions. The required skills include:

o Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and performance benchmarks for software, hardware, networks and applications.

o Document findings, analyse data, prepare technical reports, and support presentation of recommendations to project stakeholders.

o Perform system, code, and network scanning activities such as identify and analyse security-relevant assets and configurations across servers, endpoints, databases, CI/CD pipelines, and network devices.

o Conduct evaluations and performance testing of security algorithms, key management solutions, and related cryptographic services.

o Assess and test hardware-based and cloud-based encryption and key storage solutions, including HSMs (Hardware Security Modules) and KMS (Key Management Services).

o Carry out tool evaluations used for secure communications, authentication, access control management and other security controls.

o Collect, review and analyse outputs from security monitoring tools in cloud-native, on-prem and other environments.

o Support integration of security tooling and applications into existing infrastructure, pipelines, or workflows.

. Stay ahead of the curve through actively researching and tracking the latest trends in cybersecurity technologies, tools, and threats.

. Participate in incubating and developing next-generation cybersecurity solutions, collaborating with cybersecurity specialists, engineers, and researchers.

Requirements:

. BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.

. At least 5-8 years of relevant product-centric experience in cybersecurity for government and enterprise.

. Proficient in automation scripts such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell for security testing and data extraction.

. Experience in performance testing of security solutions, such as benchmarking and validation.

. Strong foundation in network protocols, cryptography, system administration, and IT infrastructure.

. Experience with security monitoring tools, network scanning software, and asset discovery solutions.

. Experience with Public Key Infrastructure, digital certificates, and certificate lifecycle management.

. Experience with Hardware Security Modules, Key Management Systems, and related security appliances or cloud key management services.

. Familiarity with secure cloud deployment, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud security services.

. Knowledge of database technologies (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server) and secure data management practices.

. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for translating complex technical concepts into clear and actionable insights.

. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work independently, collaboratively, and effectively within diverse teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

. Professional Certifications in IT Security such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC or equivalent will be an advantage.
