Job Summary
The Crewing Executive is responsible for the effective planning, recruitment, deployment, and management of seafarers for offshore vessels, ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and client requirements. The role supports safe, efficient, and cost-effective vessel operations through proactive crew management.
Key Responsibilities & Functions
- : Managing crew changes, visa applications, and flight arrangements for personnel joining offshore vessels.
- : Sourcing seafarers, collaborating with crewing agencies, and arranging interviews for officers.
- : Verifying seafarer certificates, managing Flag State license applications, and ensuring compliance with minimum safe manning standards.
- : Maintaining accurate records in the crewing system, assist with Payroll, updating rotation plans, and handling crew appraisals.
- : Coordinating pre-departure briefings and managing the mobilization of crew. Submit crew sign-on/off information via the MPA DigitPort portal for Singapore-flagged vessels.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma with relevant maritime qualification preferred.
- Minimum [3] years of experience in crewing for offshore or marine vessels.
- Strong knowledge of offshore vessel operations and crew requirements.
- Sound understanding of STCW, MLC 2006, flag state, and client compliance standards and Audits requirement.
- Familiarity with crewing software and MS Office applications.
- Organized, proactive, and able to take initiative.
- Capable of working effectively under pressure.
- Able to multitask and work independently.
