Responsibilities
- Lead community outreach initiatives to enhance programme visibility and accessibility for youths and families in need. Cultivate and maintain collaborative partnerships with stakeholders and community organizations to build a robust referral network. Oversee the Counselling & Therapy Service, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational operational frameworks. Facilitate the documentation process for client records with a focus on respect and clarity. Actively monitor and evaluate programme efficacy, contributing to continuous service improvement. Provide clinical supervision and support to staff to help them manage the emotional complexity of their roles. Strengthen the service's financial sustainability through stakeholder engagement and grant applications. Conduct trauma-informed assessments and develop tailored counselling interventions for clients in both individual and group settings. Maintain proper documentation of sessions, assessments, and case reviews to ensure professional accountability.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in counselling, psychology, or a related field. A minimum of several years of experience in counselling or therapeutic settings. Demonstrated ability to lead outreach and partnership efforts effectively. Strong understanding of trauma-informed care practices. Excellent documentation and organizational skills, with a person-centered writing approach. Commitment to upholding ethical standards and fostering a safe, inclusive environment for clients.
