Senior Counsel, Head of Legal, High Growth Software MNC

About the Role

A well‑funded, fast‑growing technology company in the SaaS space is seeking a Senior Counsel, Head of Legal to lead legal strategy and partner with senior leadership across APAC. With a strong investor base and a proven track record of innovation, this company powers digital ordering and customer engagement platforms that serve millions of consumers annually.

This is a temp‑to‑perm / permanent role based in Singapore.

What you'll do:

• Act as primary legal advisor to senior leadership on strategic and operational matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and technology agreements (SaaS, partnerships, enterprise customers, vendors).
• Advise on data privacy and regulatory compliance, including Singapore PDPA and APAC regulations.
• Support product launches, fintech/payment integrations, and cross‑border expansion.
• Manage corporate governance and company secretarial matters across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with global legal teams and cross‑functional stakeholders (Finance, HR, Product, Strategy).
• Conduct legal and compliance training and implement best practices.
• Coordinate with external counsel on cross‑border issues.

What we're looking for:

• 7–8 years corporate legal experience, with at least 2–3 years in tech.
• Proven success leading negotiations on complex, high‑value contracts.
• Ability to simplify legal advice for non‑legal stakeholders.
• Exceptional drafting skills: clear, concise, and conclusive.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and resilient under pressure.
• Currently based in Singapore.
