Senior Counsel - Commercial & IP

Our client is a technology platform, focused on the digital world of consumer services. The business employs 10,000 + worldwide and you are joining an established legal team in Asia.

Focus

• Commercially focused Technology work: 50%
• IP & Regulation: 50%

Job Description

• In this role you will work closely with the C-Suite to guide and action commercial, IP, regulatory and compliance matters in Asia. This will involve commercial transactions, IP support, regulatory guidance and the ongoing implementation of compliance initiatives.
• You will also guide senior managment with legal support on mid-term strategy.
• You will also be heavily involved in product launch, growth and distribution.

Requirements

• 8 - 14 PQE
• Excellent education and international law firm experience (Big 4 also considered)
• Background in technology products - essential
• Mix of commercial in-house, regulatory, IP and compliance - essential
• Cross-border sales, marketing, advertising, regulation - essential
• APAC experience - essential
