Our client is a US listed technology products business, Singapore is the regional HQ.
You will be joining an established legal team in Singapore and with full oversight to further develop and rollout critical compliance programs in Asia.
Job Description
- As a key member of the APAC legal team, you will develop and rollout / adoption of key compliance related matters such as AB&C, Trade, AML, Sanctions, Privacy and Policy.
- You will work with senior leaders from around the region, offering compliance support on areas such as transactions and product launch. This will also focus on the design, development and implementation of frameworks, policies and processes.
- You will support the business with daily requests, as well as ensuring mid-term strategic goals are considered along side business appropriate risk tolerance levels.
- The role is seen as critical to business success and will offer exposure to key stakeholders in Asia and around the world.
Requirements
- 10 - 15 PQE
- Experience in both law firms and In-House required
- Past experience would demonstrate compliance expertise across the APAC region, ideally touching on various subjects as outlined in the job description
- Open to industry sector
- Communication and superior stakeholder engagement skills must be tier 1
