Cost/Senior Cost Manager (Regional - Data Center Portfolio)

A global consultancy is looking for a Cost/Senior Cost Manager to support a regional portfolio of data center projects across APAC. The role focuses on strengthening cost governance, shaping commercial strategies, and ensuring consistent cost processes across multiple countries. You will collaborate closely with project teams, site leads, and regional stakeholders to deliver reliable cost control and bestpractice standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide regional oversight to cost teams and act as the key escalation point across multiple APAC markets.
- Align cost processes, governance, documentation, and reporting requirements across all sites.
- Support precontract work such as ROM budgeting, commercial strategy, and procurement activities.
- Manage cost risk across the project lifecycle and oversee change order reviews.
- Consolidate cost data for regional reporting, forecasting, and funding submissions.
- Develop the capability of cost teams through coaching, onboarding, and process training.
- Individual contributor position, reporting to the Director of Cost Management
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Engineering, Construction, or related field.
- 6+ years of cost or commercial management experience, ideally with multisite or regional exposure.
- Strong background in precontract planning, procurement, commercial strategy, and cost governance.
- Experience in missioncritical or data center environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple regions.
