Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Operations and business units to provide financial analysis, insights, and performance support.
- Perform inventory flux, cost, and variance analysis to identify trends, investigate discrepancies, and recommend actions.
- Review manufacturing expenses with Operations and support cost control initiatives.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities.
- Analyze and allocate inventory, labor, overhead, and operating costs; prepare accurate cost reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses.
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, supporting schedules, and month-end closing activities.
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses, reporting, and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; ACCA or CIMA preferred.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in costing, finance, accounting, or related areas.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office; Power bi, Oracle and Hyperion knowledge preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving ability.
- Meticulous, proactive, and willing to take initiative in process improvement.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Team player who can also work independently in a fast-paced environment.
