Job Description

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Secretarial Manager / Registered Qualified Individual (RQI) to support our corporate services business in Singapore.

The successful candidate will act as, or be eligible to register as, an RQI with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority of Singapore (ACRA), oversee corporate secretarial and compliance matters, and work closely with our China-based team.

Key Responsibilities

·       Manage corporate secretarial matters and statutory filings for Singapore companies.

·       Prepare and review resolutions, statutory registers and ACRA filings.

·       Act as, or register as, the Company's RQI and support its ongoing CSP compliance.

·       Develop AML/CFT procedures, conduct client due diligence, and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.

·       Monitor regulatory changes and advise the group management.

·       Review the work of junior team members and collaborate closely with the China-based team.

Requirements

·       Currently registered, or eligible to register, with ACRA as an RQI under an applicable professional qualification or corporate secretarial experience route.

·       Candidates applying through the experience route must have served as a company secretary for at least three years within the preceding five years and be able to provide the supporting documents required by ACRA.

·       Preferably at least five years of relevant corporate secretarial experience with a corporate service provider, accounting firm, law firm or other professional services firm.

·       Sound knowledge of Singapore corporate secretarial practices, the Companies Act, ACRA filing requirements and Bizfile.

·       Familiarity with client due diligence and AML/CFT requirements.

·       Strong teamwork and cross-border communication skills.

·       Ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin Chinese.

·       Must be based in Singapore and have the right to work in Singapore.
