Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven individual to lead and grow our electricity retail business for Industrial and Commercial (Contestable) customers. Reporting to the HOS, Corporate & SME Sales, this role plays a critical part in achieving annual sales volume and margin targets, strengthening key customer relationships, and positioning Senoko Energy as a leading one-stop energy solutions provider in Singapore's competitive electricity market.

Job Role

As Senior Manager (Corporate Sales), you will be responsible for both strategic leadership and hands-on execution across the corporate sales function. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead, manage, and grow a portfolio of Mega and Large Industrial & Commercial customers, ensuring retention, renewal, and profitable growth
  • Drive achievement of annual sales volume and non‑fuel margin targets, in line with company financial objectives
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies covering prospecting, acquisition, and contract renewals
  • Oversee all RFQs, quotations, proposals, and management reports, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Key Account Managers and Sales Executives to meet performance and activity targets
  • Manage customer engagement activities, including regular client visits, affinity events, and marketing initiatives
  • Develop and introduce new sales initiatives and energy solutions to strengthen Senoko's value proposition as a one‑stop energy service provider
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments, providing insights and recommendations to management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies on credit risk, pricing approvals, contracts, and hedging guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on budgeting, retail business planning, and strategic projects
  • Prepare and present monthly performance and market reports to senior management

Job Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a managerial sales role, preferably within the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sector
  • Strong understanding of the Singapore Electricity Market and its regulatory framework
  • Proven track record in managing large customer portfolios and delivering sustainable sales results
  • Strong leadership capability with experience in building, coaching, and motivating high‑performing sales teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Strategic, analytical, and commercially astute, with a strong focus on results and profitability
  • Confident, proactive, and self‑motivated, with the ability to work independently in a fast‑changing market environment
