About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Copywriter who demonstrates exceptional aptitude for both strategic thinking and linguistic mastery. You must possess an acute sensitivity and passion for words, coupled with the ability to transform complex financial logic and professional jargon into compelling, clear, and highly persuasive creative communications. If your background includes experience within top-tier financial institutions where you gained a deep appreciation for the rigor and elevated standards of their brand communication, yet you are driven to push the depth and scope of creative brand building, this role offers your ideal platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Content Creation: Dive deep into projects, leveraging brand strategy and consumer insights to independently conceptualize and craft all final copy, from the core creative idea to all execution deliverables. This scope includes, but is not limited to: brand manifestos, integrated campaign themes, long-form articles, video scripts, social media content, website copy, and thought leadership white papers.
  • Financial Expertise Translation: Accurately grasp complex financial products, service models, and industry trends, and translate this complexity into accessible, trustworthy, and resonant communication language for target audiences (ranging from the general public to high-net-worth individuals).
  • Brand Voice & Governance: Collaborate with the team to define and steward the client's brand voice and tone, ensuring the copy style maintains high consistency across all platforms and media, while strictly adhering to financial industry compliance and prudence standards.
  • Full-Funnel Collaboration & Pitching: Partner with the Art Director as a creative duo to drive the complete project lifecycle from initial concept development through final production; clearly and compellingly present the strategic rationale and creative logic behind the copy to internal teams and clients.
  • Industry Trend Insight: Proactively monitor and analyze dynamics within the financial, commercial, and wealth management sectors, converting forward-looking intelligence into highly engaging communication concepts.

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Foundation

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, or a related major.
  • 3-6 years of copywriter experience in a global advertising agency, or in a content creation/communication role within brand, marketing, or wealth management teams in a top-tier financial institution.
  • Possess a mature portfolio of full brand / product campaigns that clearly demonstrates your strategic thinking and copy execution capabilities.

Core Competencies

  • Top-Tier Linguistic Mastery: Deep foundation and precision in the English language, capable of flexibly switching between rigorous professionalism and vivid empathy based on the communication audience and scenario.
  • Strong Strategy and Logical Thinking: Not satisfied with mere word polishing, you are passionate about exploring the essence behind business problems, with copy that directly hithe core and achieves communication goals.
  • Excellent Financial Content Understanding and Conversion: Able to quickly digest professional materials, detests obscurity, and is committed to being the translator and connector between finance and the public (or specific demographics).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advantageous to have working experience within brand, marketing, investor education, or private banking functions of global banks, brokerages, funds, insurance companies, or renowned FinTech companies.
  • Experience serving financial, technology, B2B, or premium consumer brands with demonstrable significant results is a plus.
  • Bonus to possess Chinese reading and writing skills to be able to handle bilingual materials and to participate in international project collaboration.
