Job Description

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

Pre-arrival Duties

  • Process pre-advice requirements
  • Prepare and coordinate facility/ requirement as desired by origin stations/ customers.
  • Grouping of pre-clearance consignment, if applicable

Daily Operational Duties

  • Process and establish inbound shipments for desired deliveries
  • Handle breakbulk of consolidations and activities surrounding the consolidation
  • Inform respective agent on collection of documentation
  • Release of relevant document to agents/ customers
  • Communicate with origin station on discrepancies by issuing and follow through exception management in CW1
  • Input consol/ direct details into system
  • Collect monies on freight/ handling/ storage
  • Maintain optimum level of import document
  • Ensure proper submission of intended claims
  • Oversee the department in the event of the absence of the Assistant Manager

Post Delivery Duties

  • Collate deliveries with monies collection/ remarks
  • Ensure proper filing of documents
  • Ensure proper detachment of documents/ import invoices
  • Ensure updates of current periodicals/ circulars

YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ITE/ Diploma in any related field
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Able to start on short notice
