Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for a cook who can prepare North Indian and South Indian dishes.
- Setting up of workstation with all necessary cookware
- Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
- Cook food in various utensils or grillers
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Quality check of all ingredients
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
- Maintain kitchen in sanitised condition
Requirements
- Relevant experience as a cook in preparing North Indian and South Indian dishes
- Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
- Efficient and must be a good team player
