Senior Control Engineer (Siemens PCS-7)
The Opportunity:
- We are seeking a Control Systems Engineer to support the maintenance, optimization, and lifecycle management of process control systems. The role involves hands-on engineering work, collaboration across teams, and ensuring reliable and efficient plant operations.
The Job:
- Perform system tuning, troubleshooting, modifications, and programming to optimize control system performance and plant operations.
- Maintain and ensure the reliability and integrity of process control systems within the plant and, where applicable, at external sites.
- Collaborate with the Instrumentation team to troubleshoot and resolve control and instrumentation issues.
- Work with project teams to define control system requirements and specifications; support and execute project implementation according to schedule and technical requirements.
- Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities, including plant turnaround support.
- Develop and implement strategies for control system upgrades, expansion, and lifecycle management.
The Talent:
- Degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Control Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in industrial control systems.
- Strong experience with Siemens PCS 7, including engineering tools, programming, configuration, and system modifications.
- Experience across project phases including engineering, fabrication, construction, and commissioning.
- Knowledge of industrial networking, server-client architecture, and virtualization environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills in control systems and automation.
