Our client is a government-backed international agency committed to driving business growth, with a special focus on startups and small to medium-sized enterprises. The organization offers funding, expert guidance, and market access support to help companies innovate, expand, and succeed in the SEA marketplace.
They are looking to hire a Senior Consulting Partner, ASEAN, to drive the growth of a portfolio of clients from the Digital Technologies and Fintech sectors to develop exports into the region. The Senior Market Partner will work proactively with businesses to support them research and enter the market successfully and reach their full potential.
Responsibilities
- Leading the development of a defined portfolio of clients establishing a clear understanding of their capabilities, building strong relationships with clients, and to accelerate their export growth into Asia.
- Bringing an established network and knowledge of the opportunities of companies to capitalise on in the region and assisting the company in influencing how the organisation and wider ecosystem can best support the growth of this sector.
- Proactively highlighting market opportunities to the client company base, helping them understand evolving market dynamics, as well as raising the awareness amongst ASEAN target customers and media of the strengths and capabilities
- Influence client companies to enter the region for the first time and diversify into other markets in the ASEAN region as appropriate.
Requirements
- A relevant bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business Management is required.
- You will have a minimum total of 12 years of relevant working experience, including recent 5 years spent as a consultant focusing on market channel development and market penetration.
- Candidates with prior experience working in IT or systems integration sectors are highly valued, particularly those who have established networks and relationships within the ASEAN markets.
- A minimum of 5 years of recent sales, marketing, and business development experience in the ASEAN region is essential, with a strong emphasis on knowledge and understanding of market entry strategies and channel partner options.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the ASEAN region is required.
