Job Description

Role: Senior Consultant, User Task Training (For Banking Industry)

Job Requisition Number: AB-031

Job Level: Minimum 3-6 years of Relevant experience.

Location: Singapore

Responsibilities:

Migration Planning & Strategy

Develop and maintain end‑to‑end migration user task plans covering multiple APAC branches and diverse corporate banking products.

Define user involvement across migration cycles (data extraction, cleansing, enrichment, validation, reconciliation, and sign‑off).

Identify market‑specific migration dependencies, business rules, conversion requirements, and data readiness criteria.

Cross‑Market & Cross‑Product Coordination

Coordinate with regional offices, market leads, and product SMEs to align migration need sand ensure readiness across 10+ markets.

Facilitate harmonization of business data standards, mapping rules, and conversion logic across APAC branches.

Manage user roles and responsibilities for mock runs, trial migrations, and cutover activities.

Data Mapping, Cleansing & Validation Support

Coordinate user participation in data migration activities (data cleansing, legacy data review, master data confirmation).

Migration Execution Management (Mock Runs, Dress Rehearsals, Cutover)

Oversee user engagement during mock migration cycles: data extraction, reconciliation, defect logging, and issue escalation.

Ensure migration outcomes, exceptions, and reconciliation results are validated by users and signed off.

Business Reconciliation & Post‑Migration Validation

Coordinate users to execute business checks such as account balance validation, transaction continuity, outstanding items matching, and portfolio checks.

Reporting & Governance

Prepare and maintain migration dashboards, progress reports, data quality KPIs, reconciliation statistics, and readiness reports.

Change Management & User Readiness

Ensure users understand new system data structures, transitional impacts, and cutover implications on operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Minimum 3 years of banking industry experience, preferably with exposure to large‑scale transformation programs.

Minimum 3 years of involvement in data or system migration projects (core banking migration strongly preferred).

Hands-on experience coordinating multi‑country or multi-entity migration activities.

Strong understanding of banking operations and corporate banking data (lending, trade, payments, treasury, deposits, customer information, static data).

Strong PMO‑style capabilities: progress monitoring, issue/risk management, cross‑team coordination, and structured reporting.

Strong documentation and analytical skillset (Excel, PowerPoint, data templates, reconciliation tools).

Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams across APAC.

High responsibility, attention to detail, and ownership mindset.

3 years of consulting experience in core banking implementation/enhancement programs is a plus.

Experience with major core banking systems (e.g., Oracle Flexcube, Finastra GPP, Murex, ACBS, Trade360) is a plus.

Prior experience with Japanese banks or regional APAC banking environments is a plus.

Familiarity with data migration tools, ETL processes, and common transformation methodologies is a plus.
