Job Summary
Lead and manage operational user tasks and training activities to ensure business continuity planning and readiness for system implementations in the banking industry. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver effective training and contingency plans.
Responsibilities
- Plan and lead operational user tasks by creating detailed plans and work breakdown structures (WBS) to ensure smooth execution
- Manage progress and resolve issues related to key operational user tasks including business continuity planning, training sessions, customer and external communications, and post-release activities
- Plan and coordinate user training activities by preparing training schedules and materials, and providing expert advice on training delivery
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and ensure effective communication and readiness before system implementations or process updates
- Support the planning and documentation of business continuity planning (BCP) requirements for user operations, ensuring contingency plans cover key processes and system activities
- Coordinate with relevant teams to review operational readiness and support BCP exercises or simulations as required
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 3 years experience in top-tier or leading consulting firms focused on banking industry projects
- Experience with package system implementation related to core banking
- Knowledge of banking business and operations including Trade Finance, Lending/Loan, Payment/Collection and Cash Management, Treasury and Market, Deposit, and Accounting
- Hands-on experience in project implementation from the user side, preferably in large projects
- Experience planning or executing user tasks such as business continuity planning and training
- Proven expertise in preparing documentation and applying logical thinking
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including managing remote teams and coordinating with vendors
- Professional mindset with responsibility, strong self-discipline, and commitment to project success
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Familiarity with Trade360, ACBS, GPP, FLEXCUBE CASA, Party Module, and GLCS systems
