About the job 

We are seeking a talented, highly motivated consultant to join our team based in Singapore, with a minimum of 6+ years of recent experience in Supply Planning operations specifically, and Supply Chain operations in general. Reporting to the Managing Director APAC, the successful applicant will have a proven track record in delivering successful projects in these fields across one or more industries.  

Deep experience in all aspects of Supply Planning is key. Experience in all aspects of supply chain management is a plus, with knowledge in one or many of the following areas: merchandising and/or planning systems; integrated business planning approaches, forecasting approaches, inventory planning techniques, capacity and production planning. For this role, we require someone who has deep subject knowledge, is highly analytical with an engaging communication style, confident in interpreting data and possesses a genuine curiosity and enthusiasm for understanding the client and their markets.

Responsibilities 

  • Lead and support Supply Planning and other Supply Chain projects from design, through execution to post live support in Asia and other regions, developing client solutions across different industries such as Retail, Fashion and Consumer Goods. 
  • Work with the project sponsor and key operational stakeholders to manage the project from initiation to closure to ensure timely delivery of project objectives. 
  • Gather, analyse and extrapolate valuable insights from client data and guide clients in optimal utilisation and implementation of technologies including but not limited to ERP systems, advanced planning solutions and business intelligence tools. 
  • Collaborate with internal team members on best practice documentation, program quality, and ad-hoc project support as needed. 
  • Ensure project goals are accomplished through the optimisation of resources, inventory, materials and the entire supply chain. 
  • Work with client subject matter experts to assess and document current and to-be process flows across all facets of the value chain 
  • Compile client data and provide analysis on areas of opportunity for cost savings, process optimisation, and master data cleanliness 
  • Work independently on the key assignments and tasks to produce quality outputs  

  • Skills and Qualifications 

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant field is a must 
    • Experience: 6+ Years in Sourcing and/or Supply Planning is a must. 
    • Supply planning experience including inventory planning and management, safety stock and cycle stock methods, production and purchase planning 
    • Strong track record in design, specification and setup of supply planning processes and systems 
    • Strong knowledge in inventory management and distribution techniques and approaches 
    • Strong track record in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process design and system support 
    • Basic knowledge in transportation management and planning 

    Licenses/Certifications: None required, Planning, Sourcing and Project Management certifications are a plus 

    Language:  Fluent-level English spoken/written are a must. Mandarin language skills are desirable but not required.

    Location: Based in Singapore, with hybrid office/work from home conditions 

    Travel Requirements: Ability to travel internationally approximately 10% of the time 

    Timing: The successful candidate will commence in the role asap.
