Senior Consultant, IT PMO (for banking industry)

Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Manager in planning, tracking, and coordinating project activities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, progress reports, dashboards, and other project management documentation.
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies, ensuring any delays or risks are promptly identified and escalated.
• Assist in preparing and consolidating weekly or monthly project status reports for both internal and client stakeholders.
• Track and manage project budgets, resource allocation, and timesheets in alignment with client governance requirements.
• Support project governance activities such as steering committee meetings, project reviews, and audit readiness.
• Ensure adherence to the client's project management framework, compliance standards, and documentation templates.
• Coordinate with various workstream leads, vendors, and cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and issue resolution.
• Manage and maintain project documentation repository and ensure proper version control.
• Assist with change request management, risk and issue tracking, and lessons learned documentation.
• Uphold consulting professionalism, maintain confidentiality, and foster strong collaboration with client teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Min. 5 years of project management experience within a Bank IT environment.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end infrastructure upgrade projects.
• Strong Waterfall project management experience.
• Solid stakeholder and team management skills.
• Consulting experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
