As a member of the Singapore Energy Team, the focus of this role is to help devise and execute energy transition advisory engagements as well as techno-economic appraisal and design of energy infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
. Manage and execute energy advisory engagements, which includes coordinating with cross-discipline teams to develop bespoke solutions for clients
. Manage techno-economic appraisal and design of energy infrastructure projects with a focus on carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS), hydrogen and sustainable fuels
. Support Technical Due Diligence assignments for carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS), hydrogen and sustainable fuels
. Work with senior team members to engage with clients to identify and pitch for projects across Southeast Asia
. Assist in building relationships with both internal and external clients and stakeholders
. Take responsibility for project management or technical coordination during project delivery phases
. Participate in knowledge sharing and supporting the development of other team members
Technical Skills Requirements
. Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or similar discipline (Higher degrees would be preferred)
. More than 5 years post-qualification experience in technical and/or advisory roles related to the energy sector
. Demonstrable experience working on technical development (concept design, feasibility, pre-FEED) and/or delivery of projects involving CCUS, hydrogen or derivatives of hydrogen
. Experience working on technical due diligence or policy and strategy advisory assignments for CCUS, hydrogen or derivatives of hydrogen will be considered favourably
. Experience working in the water sector will be considered favourably
. Experience with using the following packages for project design: Aspen HySYS, Homer Pro or similar energy modelling software
. Experience of working with clients and contributing to business development
. Working towards a professional qualification with a recognised institution in the field of engineering is desirable
. Experience preparing papers and presentations for industry events and/or webinars will be considered favourably.

Relationships:
The position will involve developing the following types of key relationships:
. Engaging with colleagues in the energy and advisory teams in Southeast Asia, around APAC and globally to develop winning bids and deliver commercially successful projects
. Active involvement with the network of process engineering experts in the APAC region and internationally, across the energy, water and resources sectors
. Day-to-day working-level relationships with the Singapore EWR and advisory teams, the SEA Energy Advisory Leader and the SEA Energy Business Leader.
