We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Production Manager to join the team supporting the APAC Portfolio of the Energy Council and the continued growth of the brand.

The role sits within a specialist energy networking platform focused on delivering high-level, content-led initiatives that connect decision-makers across the full energy value chain - from investors and financiers to energy operators, refiners, and technology providers. With a 16+ year heritage, the Energy Council is a trusted brand with a global following.

The successful candidate will help produce a series of market-leading conferences and private meetings, with a particular focus on building our presence across the APAC region. Asia work experience would also be advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting in depth research calls and facilitating in-person meetings to identify key themes and topics that should be covered at the Assembly
  • Writing a market-leading, commercial agenda
  • Building ADI, speaker and SPEX TM lists throughout the campaign
  • Recruiting high level speakers, and bringing new faces compared to previous years
  • Identifying opportunities to launch and curate networking events and smaller Assemblies in new high growth regions
  • Joining calls with the SPEX team to promote selling in tandem
  • 3x digital content pieces to be created and released throughout the event campaign such as speaker interviews, podcasts, whitepapers, press releases or updates from sponsors
  • Travelling in and around region several times a year ( minimum 8 weeks annually) to run events and conduct meetings with industry leaders
  • Managing the event budget alongside operations to ensure costs and targets are being met
  • Working with/part-managing at least one salesperson and one marketing executive
  • Writing key marketing copy using unique knowledge of the industry and audience
  • Running preparatory calls for Assembly panels leading up to the event
  • Having overall strategic input on major event decisions, strategic direction, commercial model, marketing plan and more

Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:

  • Experience of looking beyond the traditionalconference industry revenue model and open to embracing and creating new ideas around a commercial model
  • A proven track record in confex, or the energy, finance & investment sectors
  • Strong project management skills
  • Confident and can build rapport and lasting relationships with senior executives
  • Excellent organisational skills and able to multitask, working on multiple events at the same time
  • Experience of working with systems, including but not limited to Salesforce, and Pardot
  • Interest in energy, commodities, finance and investment spaces
  • High level of public speaking skills - confident moderating, chairing and MCing events
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate APAC time differences, and ability to travel for extended

Our Values:

Always Deliver: Can you demonstrate that you go above and beyond in your tasks and projects
Creativity: Do you think outside the box and come up with new ideas
