Role Overview

The Compliance Manager / Director will be responsible for overseeing compliance programs with a strong focus on licensing and AML/KYC requirements. While initially centered on Singapore, this role may extend to cover broader global operations as Antalpha expands. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, the individual will provide both operational oversight and strategic input on compliance risks, frameworks, and regulatory obligations.

What Youll Do

• Oversee licensing obligations and AML/KYC programs in alignment with regulatory standards.
• Audit and refine compliance procedures to ensure consistency across licensed jurisdictions.
• Advise C-level executives on compliance matters, regulatory impacts, and risk appetite.
• Prepare for and manage regulatory reviews and external audits.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to embed compliance into business processes and product development.
• Monitor evolving regulations and industry practices to ensure Antalpha remains proactive and aligned.
• Support the development of scalable compliance frameworks for future growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; advanced certifications (CAMS, ICA, CCEP) preferred.
• 812 years of compliance or legal experience, ideally in fintech, financial services, or digital assets.
• Strong background in AML/KYC and licensing frameworks, with exposure to APAC regulations (Singapore preferred).
• Experience handling audits and advising senior leadership on compliance risks.
• Ability to work across multiple jurisdictions and adapt frameworks to different regulatory environments.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin highly desirable for cross-border collaboration.
