We are looking for a communications professional to support media engagement, thought-leadership content, and events that enhance Applied Materials visibility and reputation in the region. Based in Singapore, the ideal candidate will be part of the Communications & Public Affairs team, and play a key role in driving brand-aligned, high-quality content across channels.

Key Responsibilities

Content development

  • Develop presentation content, executive communications, social media posts and other written communications aligned with organizational narratives
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of communication campaigns, including content development and performance tracking
  • Play an active role in media and stakeholder outreach
  • Support post-event reporting and insights to measure impact and inform future engagements

Events Management

  • Support the end-to-end planning and execution of internal and external events
  • Coordinate event logistics and materials, including vendor management, programme flow, onsite support, and production of event communications assets
  • Develop and maintain event toolkits, templates, checklists, and processes to improve team efficiency and scalability
  • Support post-event reporting, including metrics, insights, stakeholder feedback, and recommendations to enhance future engagements

Integrated Communications Support

  • Collaborate with other business functions or employee groups to gather content for communication pieces
  • Ensure event and marketing outputs reflect organisational priorities, key messages, and brand identity across all touchpoints
  • Support broader communications activities as needed, such as internal communications
  • Support regional projects and strategic initiatives
  • Perform all other job-related duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or similar field
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing communications and events management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong media relations skills and experience working with local and regional media
  • Proficiency in social media management and digital communication tools
  • Excellent project management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in visual communication, Adobe Photoshop or photography will be a plus
  • Comfortable coordinating logistics and supporting multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
