Responsibilities:
- Manage commercial operations for existing LNG carrier projects, including ongoing performance and stakeholder coordination.
- Oversee commercial aspects of LNG carrier newbuilding projects across pre-delivery and post-delivery phases.
- Review and support key commercial contracts such as time charterparties and shipbuilding agreements to ensure compliance and governance.
- Monitor operating expenses (OPEX), prepare variance analyses, and report on financial performance.
- Manage project-level financials, including cash flow planning and cash waterfall administration.
- Handle and resolve commercial disputes to protect owners commercial interests.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with charterers, sellers, buyers, and other key stakeholders.
- Organise and lead regular commercial and operational meetings with external partners.
- Support marketing initiatives for LNG tonnage and contribute to business development activities.
- Conduct market research on LNG shipping trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
- Support headquarter and business development initiatives across liquefied gas and energy business teams as required.
- Travel as needed for meetings, project discussions, and business development activities.
Requirements:
- Basic understanding of LNG carrier operations, chartering agreements, and shipbuilding contracts.
- Relevant working experience in LNG, oil, LPG, or related energy industries is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with OPEX tracking, budgeting, variance analysis, and cash flow management, including cash waterfall structures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel as required for business and stakeholder engagements.
