Key Responsibilities:
. Design, build and operate Azure cloud platform capabilities across enterprise environments.
. Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Azure Bicep.
. Build reusable developer self-service golden paths, environment templates and deployment patterns.
. Implement CI/CD and GitOps pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, ShipHATS or equivalent.
. Embed security, compliance and governance through DevSecOps, policy-as-code and automated guardrails.
. Implement identity and access controls using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, PIM and Conditional Access.
. Develop observability using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
. Support AI application hardening, production readiness and cloud-native deployment.
. Support FinOps, cost monitoring and cloud cost optimization.
. Collaborate with engineering, security, finance, audit and business stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
. 10+ years of hands-on Cloud/Platform Engineering experience.
. Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, preferably in enterprise or regulated environments.
. Experience with Azure Landing Zones, Azure Policy, Container Apps, App Service, API Management, Defender for Cloud and Azure Cost Management.
. Strong Terraform/Bicep and CI/CD experience.
. Strong DevSecOps, cloud security and compliance experience.
. Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, PIM and Conditional Access.
. Experience with containers, APIs and cloud-native architecture.
. Practical AI literacy and experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot or Claude.
. Experience with Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) or regulated environments is highly preferred.
. Good understanding of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and JWT.
. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred: Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Microsoft Sentinel, SRE, observability, FinOps and developer platform/golden-path experience.
