Our client is a leading global investment bank in Singapore and they are seeking for an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer. This role will allow you to be part of the infrastructure team in supporting the development and maintenance of robust technology foundations that underpin their digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Enable the next iteration of their cloud strategy by planning and executing against the vision for an agile organization that leverages cloud native to take full advantage of cloud computing
- Proactively keep updated on AWS/Azure updates and proactively propose, design, and implement changes to their cloud systems
- Champion and exemplify cloud native practices, including cloud native philosophy, architecture, principles, and culture
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in shaping and executing hybrid cloud strategies, operating models, and IT service management best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop business cases and assess return on investment for technology initiatives.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven success in delivering cloud-native applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, leveraging modern design principles and architectural patterns.
- Hands-on experience automating full lifecycle management of application hosting platforms in data center and public cloud using DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure and Platform Automation technology products such as Amazon CloudFormation, HashiCorp Suite, Puppet, Ansible, and Chef
- One or more AWS/Azure Certifications at Professional and/or Specialty level
