Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS / DevOps)

We're hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer to consult with one of the leading global financial services clients in Singapore. This is a role where you'll support the build and scale of a secure, cloud-native engineers platform used by hundreds of engineers. You'll be part of a high-performing tech team driving a multi-year cloud transformation initiative aimed at enhancing developer efficiency and platform reliability.

What You'll Do

• Build and support an internal AWS cloud platform as part of a cross-functional engineering team
• Collaborate with engineers to understand workflows and improve engineers experience
• Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS using tools like Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS)
• Develop automation pipelines and CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions or similar tools
• Integrate monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk for observability
• Maintain system performance, troubleshoot issues, and support platform scaling
• Work closely with engineering teams across departments to enable smooth cloud migration and adoption

Must-Have Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, including EKS, IAM, EC2, Lambda
• 3 to 4 years of experience in software development using either Python, Java, JavaScript, .NET, or C#.
• Containerization tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar tools
• Working knowledge of logging/monitoring tools: Datadog, Splunk, CloudWatch
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across teams
