Role Overview:

Capgemini is seeking a seasoned Client Partner to drive strategic growth across Financial Services in the APAC region. This leadership role combines account management, business development, and delivery governance to expand Capgemini's footprint across digital transformation, core modernization, and system integration programs.

You will act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, while owning account P&L, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring high-quality delivery across complex, multi-geography engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Client Partnership

  • Own and grow strategic BFSI client accounts across APAC markets (Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Wealth, Payments).
  • Build strong relationships with CxO stakeholders (CIO, CTO, CDO, COO).
  • Position us as a strategic transformation partner, leveraging global capabilities and local market insights.
  • Drive long-term account planning, including digital, transformation, and innovation roadmaps.

Revenue Growth & P&L Ownership

  • Own complete account P&L, revenue growth, and margin targets.
  • Drive large deals (multi-year, multi-million USD) across SI, consulting, and managed services.
  • Identify and convert opportunities in:
  • Digital Banking Transformation
  • Core Banking Modernization
  • Payments & Open Banking
  • Data, AI & Cloud Transformation
  • Lead deal shaping, commercial structuring, and contract negotiations.

Delivery Leadership & Governance

  • Ensure successful execution of complex IT and system integration programs.
  • Drive governance frameworks, program reviews, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with global delivery teams leveraging.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction (CSAT), SLA adherence, and operational excellence.

Domain & Industry Leadership

  • Leverage deep expertise in APAC banking ecosystems including regulatory and market nuances.
  • Bring knowledge across core banking platforms (Temenos, Finacle, Oracle, Thought Machine)
  • Payments modernization & real-time payments
  • Regulatory compliance (APRA, MAS, HKMA, RBI, etc.)
  • Digital channels, omnichannel banking, and customer experience
  • Act as a thought leader, driving innovation discussions with clients.

Collaboration & Internal Leadership

  • Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, solutions, and delivery leadership.
  • Lead RFP responses, proposals, and capability presentations.
  • Mentor account managers and emerging leaders within the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology; MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in IT services/System Integration.
  • Significant experience in managing BFSI clients in APAC markets.
  • Proven track record of growing large strategic accounts ($10M+ portfolio management preferred).
  • Experience managing distributed global delivery models (onshore-offshore).
