Responsibilities:
- Work with multinational teams across the globe with exposure to important high value claims,
- Conduct thorough investigations into claims, analyzing circumstances and gathering evidence,
- The job will entail appointment of surveyors, liaising with casualty investigators, lawyers, experts, opposing parties, adjusters and reporting regularly to insurance companies with detailed recommendations,
- Communicate with policyholders to gather information regarding the claim use internal and external resources when appropriate,
- Lead negotiations with clients and stakeholders to achieve fair settlements, especially on claims involving collisions,
- Cheque posting and tracking of aging cases.
Requirements:
- Claims handling experience in one of the areas: Marine, Freight, Cargo, or P&I,
- Strong verbal and written communication skills,
- Team player as well as capable of individual performance.
