We are urgently looking for Senior Civil Tender Quantity Surveyor for one of the biggest subcontractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BQ) and cost breakdowns for civil infrastructure tenders
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to ensure accurate quantity take-offs
- Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
- Liaise with engineering and procurement teams to align tender strategies
- Prepare and submit competitive tender proposals within stipulated deadlines
- Conduct post-tender evaluations and support contract negotiations
- Assist in variation orders, budget reviews, and cost control during project execution (if required)
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of QS experience
- Strong understanding of civil engineering works, including roadworks, drainage, sewerage, and utilities
- Proficient in AutoCAD, and MS Excel
- Familiarity with Singapore Standard Method of Measurement (SSMM) and public sector procurement processes
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tender submissions concurrently
- Knowledge of Green Mark, sustainability cost factors, or BIM-based tendering is an added advantage
