Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete, structural steel, and composite structures.
Prepare detailed structural calculations, reports, and design documentation.
Involves in all aspects relating to the Design and Construction Management of all types of Civil and Structural Systems for Industrial Facilities Buildings
Assists in the design of Concrete and Steel Structures
Assists Project Managers in achieving project completion within budget and on schedule and quality
Prepares, Issues and Evaluates Tender packages
Coordinates with Architectural, Process, Mechanical, Electrical disciplines and Quantity surveyors
Design foundations (shallow & deep foundations), slabs, beams, columns, retaining walls, and other structural components.
Carry out load calculations including dead load, live load, wind load, seismic load, and other applicable loads. Review all technical documentation as required under the contract.
Ensures the distribution of all the approved and latest drawings and other associated documentation to the relevant parties.
Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, BS, ACI, AISC, local authority requirements).
Conduct value engineering and optimization of structural systems.
Ensure proper coordination with Consultants, Clients, and Subcontractors in resolving all technical issues.
Provide technical solutions to site-encountered problems.
Ensure all relevant approvals (e.g. samples, drawings) are obtained according to the working program.
Attends Technical Meetings and Coordination Meetings etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in technical coordination in construction of relevant work experience in building projects in Singapore.
Basic Understanding of RC/Steel Structure Construction
Proactive coordination with Architectural, Faade and M&E trades on Project
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to successfully communicate with clients, management, and team members
Preferable experience of Precast Concrete Structure works and PBU
Preferable knowledge of BIM software/Autodesk Revit
