Job Summary
Deliver engaging Chinese language instruction for primary and secondary students, ensuring curriculum effectiveness and student progress. Mentor new teachers and maintain accurate academic and attendance records while collaborating with parents and conducting seminars.
Responsibilities
- Teach Chinese language courses to primary and secondary students, adapting methods to meet diverse learning needs
- Evaluate and improve curriculum effectiveness to enhance student learning outcomes
- Participate in curriculum development initiatives to align content with educational goals
- Maintain accurate student attendance and academic records for monitoring and reporting purposes
- Communicate student progress and follow up with parents to support learning development
- Plan and conduct seminars to enrich student and parent engagement
- Mentor and train new teachers to ensure consistent teaching quality and professional growth
- Deliver lessons during weekends and weekday evenings according to class schedules
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's, Professional, or Master's Degree in Education, Teaching, Linguistics, Chinese Languages, or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience teaching or working in a related educational field
- Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated through effective collaboration and communication
- Ability to communicate in English is advantageous for engaging with diverse stakeholders
