Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and support the design, coordination, and execution of Low Voltage (LT), Switchgear and High Voltage (HV) systems for construction and infrastructure projects.
The role ensures all engineering works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, regulatory requirements and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design review and implementation of LT/HV electrical systems and switchgear
- Review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), load calculations and protection coordination
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
- Oversee installation, testing and commissioning activities
- Ensure compliance with Singapore standards (EMA, SS, IEC) and project requirements
- Support technical evaluation of equipment, vendors and subcontractors
- Mentor junior engineers and support capability development
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 6-10 years of relevant experience in M&E / construction projects
- Strong hands-on experience in LT, HV systems and switchgear
- Familiar with testing and commissioning processes
- Able to work independently and as part of a project team
Preferred Qualifications
- Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification
- Experience in infrastructure / MRT / LTA projects
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM or electrical analysis tools (e.g. ETAP)
