Job Description
The Senior Category Marketing Manager is responsible for leading category marketing strategy and execution across North Asia, Southeast Asia (SEA), and South Asia (SA).
This role drives category growth, portfolio strategy, and innovation agenda across savory, sweet goods, and dairy applications, working in close partnership with Commercial Teams, Product Marketing, CD&D teams and other key stakeholders.
The role acts as a regional category marketing leader, translating global business strategy into locally relevant marketing plans, enabling commercial success, and accelerating innovation adoption with key customers.
Your Responsibilities
- Own and drive sub-regional category marketing strategies for Savory and SG&D, aligned with global priorities and regional growth ambitions
- Define category positioning, value propositions, and portfolio roles by application and market. Identify growth white spaces, regional demand trends, and customer needs across North Asia, SEA, and South Asia
- Translate customer and market insights into clear innovation briefs and business cases. Monitor competitive landscape, regulatory trends, and emerging technologies. Translate insights into actionable strategic recommendations for leadership and cross-functional teams
- Lead annual category innovation campaigns to fuel business pipeline growth
- Support customer co-creation projects, ensuring strong category relevance and commercial viability. Support key customer engagements, including strategic accounts and regional customers
- Coach team members to support them to grow within the marketing organization, as well as to make sure targets achieved as a whole team
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or Business.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in category or product marketing in food and beverage companies, flavor marketing experience is highly preferred
- Familiar with marketing planning, insight-based innovation, customer presentations, project management, and marketing communications; able to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns
- Strong marketing and communication skills, able to create and make clear engaging marketing tools
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; able to translate business needs into effective marketing solutions
- Excellent team leadership skills
