Senior Category Manager

Key Responsibilities

. Serve as the primary liaison with suppliers, managing relationships, establishing business frameworks, driving performance improvements, and conducting overall business reviews

. Monitor industry trends and supplier risk profiles to develop long-term supplier engagement strategies

. Identify and source new business partners to meet the evolving needs of the organization

. Develop strategies to continuously maximize cost savings for the organization while ensuring high quality and timely delivery

. Understand the company's long-term requirements and engage in strategic planning and collaboration with internal stakeholders to achieve key performance indicators

. Lead cost structure analysis and negotiate with Suppliers to achieve the most desirable outcome for the company

. Lead the implementation of initiatives with relevant stakeholders to secure Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reductions

. Organize and lead Business Reviews and Category Review Meetings.

. Supporting innovation and digitalization plans within the procurement space to enhance operational efficiency and performance

Requirements

. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field

. Minimum 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or supply chain management

. Prior experience in semiconductor, OSAT, electronics manufacturing or high-tech industries is highly preferred

. Experience managing direct materials (e.g., substrates, lead frames) or capital equipment is an advantage

. Proven track record in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier negotiation and contract management

. Experience working with global suppliers and cross-regional teams

. Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder influencing skills

. Strong analytical skills with experience in cost modelling and pricing analysis
