Title: Senior Category Manager, Technology Procurement

About the Role:

Our client is an SGX listed company and a market leader in their sector. They have diversified business and have expanded internationally.

They are currently looking to hire a Senior Category Manager, Technology Procurement to be part of the Global Procurement organization.

Responsibilities:

. Formulate and develop Information Technology procurement strategies, including preparing, negotiating, and implementing strategic sourcing strategies to maximize value and increase savings.

. Lead global supplier development initiatives to strengthen partnerships and drive continuous improvement.

. Execute procurement strategies by managing the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management.

. Drive cost reduction initiatives through effective category management and strategic sourcing.

. Develop and maintain strong relationships with global suppliers to optimize supplier performance and mitigate risks.

Requirements:

. Bachelor's Degree with at least 8-10 years experience in a Procurement / Strategic Sourcing roles, preferably in IT or ICT related categories

. Proven track record of successfully developing and executing procurement strategies to drive savings and improve profitability.

. Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a deep understanding of supplier relationship management.

. Proficiency in procurement tools and systems, with a solid understanding of procurement best practices.

. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
