- Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
- Build and fabricate carpentry when given dimensioned drawings
- Cutting and shaping materials and joining them using glue, nails, screws, and bolts.
- Measuring, cutting, and installing various fixtures and millwork for doors, windows, ceiling panels, staircases, decking, furniture, etc.
- Advising clients on the best materials and implementation
- Adhering to safety and health regulations
- Proficient in operating of tools and machinery
- Collaborating with other carpenters, contractors and designers to execute per requirements
- Troubleshooting and repairing defects per customer requests
Working hours: Monday - Saturday (9am - 6pm)
Willing to work on Sundays and Public Holidays where necessary
