Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Civil & Structural (C&S) Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, coordination, and execution of infrastructure and civil engineering projects, including large-scale transportation and transit-related developments.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the civil and structural design for infrastructure and transit-related projects.
- Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders including clients, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Review contractor submissions and provide responses to design queries.
- Attend technical meetings, site inspections, and resolve construction issues related to C&S design.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years design experience in infrastructure and civil engineering projects of similar scale and nature.
- Proven experience in the design of continuous multiple-span prestressed concrete bridges.
- Hands-on experience in the design of Civil Defence MRT Stations.
- Strong understanding of local and international design standards and codes (e.g., Eurocodes, BS, EN, LTA standards).
- Experience with modification works to existing rail transit structures is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent accreditation is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, MIDAS, or equivalent.
