Job responsibilities:
- Prepare inquiry documentation
- Obtain RFQ/Bid Tenders from suppliers
- Evaluate commercial aspects of RFQ/Bid tender
- Effect purchase orders for materials and/or services through the SAP system
- Follow up material and procurement plans
- Invoice handling with suppliers and finance.
- Close-out of purchase orders
- Other relevant supply chain/procurement activities
- Contribute to a good working environment in their project team(s)
- Provide information to colleagues and make sure that relevant information is obtained from other discipline is shared accordingly.
- Contribute to on the job training for oneself and others
- Where applicable, manage performance of and provide feedback to subordinates. Feedback shall be documented on a regular basis and distributed to HR / Procurement Manager in department as required
- Manage conflicts involving subordinates
Work experience requirements:
- Min 8-10 years of experience with different types of tasks within the procurement discipline
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in the relevant discipline
- Lack of formal education can be compensated with relevant experience according to Aibel position matrix
Other skills:
- Ability to have discipline responsibility and conduct training within the discipline
- Ability to guide others and control the work performed by others
- Has excellent oral and written English skills
- Possesses good planning skills and the ability to understand and deliver in accordance with project schedule
- Is up to date on methods, tools and regulations within the procurement discipline
- High degree of ethical awareness, integrity and compliance.
- Be cooperative and have good working attitude
- High degree of commercial awareness including negotiation, planning skills
- High degree of efficiency, productivity and project delivery mindset
- High loyalty to deadline and quality requirements in project
