At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience as a butcher in meat processing, wholesale, or retail operations
Proven ability to cut, debone, trim, and portion beef, mutton, lamb.
Familiar with primal and sub-primal cuts and portioning according to customer or operational requirements
Experience handling frozen and chilled meat in wet market.
Knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and proper meat handling procedures
Experience with butcher tools and equipment, including knives, band saws, and cutting machines
Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
Able to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required
Willing to comply with company SOPs, Halal requirements, and regulatory standards
Reliable, disciplined, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Minimum secondary school education or equivalent
Relevant trade certification or Food Hygiene Certificate will be an advantage
Able to communicate in basic English for work coordination and safety instructions
