Job Responsibility
1.Drive global market expansion and resource acquisition for agricultural commodities (corn/grains), leveraging expertise in worldwide supply chains to independently develop overseas suppliers (farms, cooperatives) and establish sustainable procurement/sales channels.
2.Conduct deep-dive analysis of agri-market dynamics (supply/demand, pricing, policies) to formulate sourcing strategies and mitigate trade risks.
3.Lead international tenders, joint ventures, and upstream resource negotiations, executing long-term supply agreements.
4.Oversee end-to-end cross-border trade operations (procurement, logistics, L/C, hedging, settlement) to optimize cost and capital efficiency.
5.Design structured trade solutions (cross-border financing, entrept trade, processing/distribution) enhancing profit margins.
6.Ensure compliance (INCOTERMS, L/C clauses, international arbitration) via collaboration with risk/legal teams.
7.Build and mentor international trading teams, cultivating multidisciplinary talent (trade, language, derivatives).
8.Maintain strategic partnerships with global key accounts (e.g., ABCD majors) and uncover downstream value-chain opportunities.
9.Partner with futures teams to execute price-hedging strategies (futures/options/swaps).
10.Optimize international logistics (shipping, rail, warehousing) with supply chain teams.
Qualifications
1.Experience:
8+ years in global agricultural commodities trading (corn/grains focus)
3+ years leading teams with proven success in transnational projects (e.g., origin direct-sourcing)
2.Technical Mastery:
Expertise in trade regulations (UCP600, ISBP) and settlement instruments (L/C, TT, DP)
Hands-on commodity financialization (futures, options, swaps)
3.Skills:
Elite negotiation capabilities (English working proficiency; additional languages preferred)
Cross-cultural agility and readiness for 40%+ global travel
4.Education:
Bachelor's/Master's in Economics, International Trade, Agriculture, or related field
MBA, CFA, or FRM credentials advantageous
