JOB DESCRIPTION
Strategy and Planning
- Business development through contacts, new ideas and referrals to increase offshore clients base.
- Developing and implementing across cross border referral plans to achieve cross border referrals targets and revenue.
- Assist in all sales marketing initiatives for onshore preferred segment.
- Give timely feedback to management in relation to sales performance, disciplinary issues and any other. relevant highlights. Identify and fraudulent and operational risks that may affect smooth operation of bank.
Business Performance and Management
- Achievement of sales/ service standards, quantitative and qualitative within the team with defined standards.
- Delivering their overall team's and individual RM targets.
- To achieve overall sales revenue and product mix for team and individual RM.
- Impart skills and market knowledge, selling skills and conduct joint sales meeting with RMS.
- Any other responsibilities and projects as assigned by the Management.
People Management
- Lead by setting great example.
- Responsible for recruitment of relationship managers and manage regrettable attrition.
- Development of staff, ensuring competency and capabilities of each RM are enhanced effectively.
- Engage RMs effectively while motivating them and working jointly to achieve their career aspirations.
- Impart skills and market knowledge, selling skills and conduct joint sales meeting with RMS.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure all necessary training regiment is fulfilled.
- Ensure all due diligence done for clients are adhered to.
- Attend all relevant training and briefings.
- Comply with all internal policies, procedures, processes as well as regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications
Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing Requirements
- Process all relevant certifications, e.g., CLI, CGI, HI, M1B, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9 and M9A
Relevant Work Experience
- At least 5 years of banking sales experience
Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of financial market and investment products
- Strong understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements
