The Business Development Senior Manager will report directly to the Head of Business Development. He/She is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and acquiring new business opportunities local and overseas while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients. This role requires a strategic leader with excellent communication and negotiation skills who can effectively manage the sales process from prospecting to closing.
Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and increase market share for both local and International Business setting.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Sales Process Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience with a degree in any Engineering field, Marketing or Business Development with working experience, preferably on the sales and business development experience.
- Strong command of English and able to engage stakeholders at all levels, including customers and principals.
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Independent, self-motivated and able to work with a team.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new concepts and technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to collaborate and inspire a diverse team while aligning efforts with strategic business objectives.
- Prior military experience (Ex SAF personnel) is considered a strong advantage, providing valuable insights into Defence-related markets and clients.
- A keen interest in Defence technologies, products, and solutions, coupled with an understanding of industry dynamics.
