About the Role
The Senior Business Development Manager will play a key role inexpanding the firm's presence across Singapore and Japan. The candidate will beresponsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with institutional investors, and enhancing the firm's strategic partnerships, etc. The candidate will report to the Chief Executive Officer of LUCA SGP directly.
KeyResponsibilities
. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of potential distribution partners across East Asia (Japan, Korea, Taiwan) and Southeast Asia (Hong Kong, Singapore,Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand). Focus on, but not limited to single-family offices, multi-family offices, brokers and Private banks
. Expand LUCA's distribution network by identifying, cultivating, and managing keyrelationships across the region. Strengthen existing partnerships by understanding distribution partners client needs and aligning LUCA's productsto provide tailored investment solutions.
. Collaborate with internal teams - including investment research, product development, and compliance - to develop customized investment solutions and create marketing materials that effectively address client demands.
. Support the execution of sales and marketing strategies, including roadshows, investorpresentations, webinars, and conferences, to drive engagement and business growth.
. Independently manage client relationships, ensuring a high level of confidentiality and integrity in handling client information.
. Ensure full compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements, maintaining the firm's commitment to ethical and transparent business practices.
. Work closely with the Singapore and Japan teams to meet revenue targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) while contributing to the firm's overall growth strategy.
Qualifications
. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field. Relevant industry experience may be considered in place of adegree in these fields on a case-by-case basis.
. 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or client relations within multi-family office and private bank sectors.
. Proven ability to build and manage relationships withdistribution channels for financial products/services.
. Self-motivated and driven, able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision.
. Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to engage effectively with clients and partners.
. Fluency in English, in-depth knowledge of the Japanese market with excellent written and presentation skills in both Japanese and Mandarin will be a significant advantage
. Ability to adapt to evolving business environments and client needs.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
