Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager / Head of Business Growth to lead revenue expansion and drive business growth for our salon, spa, beauty, and furniture-related business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, securing major accounts, growing existing customers, and achieving consistent month-on-month sales growth. This is a senior commercial role suitable for a candidate with strong business networks, proven sales leadership experience, and the ability to deliver measurable revenue results.
The candidate must be highly independent, target-driven, and capable of developing both short-term sales opportunities and long-term business partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to increase company revenue
- Achieve agreed monthly sales targets and deliver month-on-month sales growth
- Identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities with salons, spas, distributors, corporate clients, retailers, and trade partners
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, business owners, procurement teams, and industry partners
- Manage the full sales process from lead generation, presentation, quotation, negotiation, closing, and after-sales follow-up
- Prepare business proposals, quotations, sales presentations, and commercial terms
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, supply arrangements, and partnership opportunities
- Grow existing customer accounts through repeat sales, upselling, cross-selling, and improved customer retention
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer needs, and industry opportunities
- Recommend new revenue streams, product opportunities, partnerships, and sales channels
- Work closely with operations, production, warehouse, logistics, and admin teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction
- Provide regular sales reports, sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and business performance reviews to management
- Represent the company professionally in client meetings, business discussions, trade events, and partnership negotiations
- Support management in business planning, expansion strategies, and commercial decision-making
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in business development, sales management, key account management, corporate sales, or related commercial roles
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing business revenue
- Strong ability to deliver month-on-month sales growth
- Experience in salon, spa, beauty, wellness, furniture, retail, distribution, B2B sales, or related industries will be an advantage
- Strong business network and ability to generate new leads independently
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong commercial sense with the ability to identify profitable business opportunities
- Confident in preparing proposals, quotations, presentations, and business reports
- Able to manage key accounts and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, WhatsApp Business, and basic sales tracking tools
- Responsible, hands-on, disciplined, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be highly target-driven and accountable for sales performance
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Has existing contacts or networks in the salon, spa, beauty, wellness, furniture, retail, or commercial supply industry
- Able to open new business doors and convert leads into confirmed sales
- Comfortable dealing with business owners, senior management, distributors, retailers, and corporate clients
- Able to create sales strategies instead of only handling incoming enquiries
- Strong closing ability with a practical understanding of customer needs and business profitability

Remuneration
Salary will range from $12,000 to $18,000 per month, depending on the candidate's experience, track record, industry network, and ability to deliver measurable business growth.
Performance incentives, commission, or bonus structure may be considered for candidates who exceed agreed sales targets.
