About The Company

Global Precious Metals (GPM) is a niche player in the wealth management industry, servicing high-net-worth clients who want to allocate part of their portfolio to physical precious metals (gold, silver, platinum and palladium) as wealth insurance. GPM also provides fully-insured custody of physical precious metals in high security vaults around the world.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for an energetic and experienced Business Development professional who will drive sales and business growth. The selected candidate will also be building on our existing client relationships and managing client portfolio. He/she will be based in Singapore and work in a cross-border team to achieve the strategic objectives of Business Development team, reporting directly to Management.

Core Responsibilities

  • Identify, cultivate new relationships, and follow up closely with potential HNW/UHNW prospects
  • Actively engage with new and existing professional network to build a pipeline of prospects
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients through client retention plans, improving client experience and anticipating client needs
  • Source and negotiate partnerships and/or sponsorships at relevant industry events
  • Organise company's events
  • Expand network of precious metals trading partners and service providers
  • Take charge of ad hoc project management

Requirements

Qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum 8 years experience in marketing or business development role at best, within precious metals, luxury commodities, wealth management, or private banking industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance, Business Management, International Business, Marketing or related field

Skills and expertise:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong focus, strategic thinking, and result-orientedness
  • High level of reliability, professionalism, and respect for confidentiality
  • Willingness to travel to meet business needs
  • Good knowledge of Asian and European markets
