Senior Business Development Manager/Director- Automation & Digitalization

The Senior Business Development Manager/Director role requires a dynamic, self-motivated individual who understands the market needs, opportunities, business promotions and responsible for the research of innovative Technology and software applied in the Process Automation &Digitalization

Job Responsibilities

. Identify growth opportunities and develop and execute market development strategies to achieve the growth objectives for the product and solutions.

. Identify new market Industry, new customers and promote the product and solutions.

. Work with our regional offices to increase and help manage their funnel and improve the win rate. Identify, qualify, and develop key target accounts.

. Gather and research market and technical information

. Develop and propose new concepts in Industrial Automation & Digitalization.

. Coordinate with product development team during the product development phase

. Liaise with Clients and vendors to perform feasibility studies at site, define project scope and resolve technical issues for approved research projects.

. Own and manage the P&L for the automation and digitalization business

. Lead digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives from business case development through implementation and value realization.

Job Requirements

. Degree in Engineering /Post Graduate Diploma in Business administration

. Experienced in managing APAC region clients/markets

. Minimum 15 years related working experience with at least 10 years Industrial Research/Consulting Experience/Automation/Digitalization.

. Experience in research projects for Process Control/Industrial Automation/Digitalization, or emerging industrial technologies.

. Proven track record of delivering revenue and profitability growth.

. Good knowledge of software products/applications available in market focused on Industrial Automation/Digitalization

. Proven experience in P&L management, including revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, and profitability.
